oh my actual god saying things like that is not allowed. i nearly vomited. on two ocassions; and one of them wasn't even because of the ouzo.
but having my4 favourite people within a 10m radius of each other, was happy times. africa liked her cake, and it was just general good times.
i wish id taken a picture from today, but i didnt. fail. me and rogan did some massive tour of blackpool. nommed in tesco, saw the lions at the zoo, and then the hospital. what the hell. yellow car punch/

tomorrow is just a song away
if Ben hadn't been so nice, we wouldn't even have got into the Ruby Lounge, so Ben = winner of the night.
despite losing rogan and ali to some weird cage thing, it was the best night in sososo long. Hockey were actually fantastic. want. album. now.

similarly, Passion Pit were best thing ever. okay no, they were a little bit disappointing, and unecesarily angry, but everything's cool when you're whacking out Sleepyhead on a YamahahamaY

Africa, Matthew and Me

This was the weirdest place i've been in a long time. After spending a large amount of time arguing over how would be the best way to get into the old building site, we found a nice Spanish man who was pretty happy to open the private gate for us, letting us climb through a pretty small gap between a brick wall and a metal fence. Despite it being pretty much completely empty, the place had such a strange feeling, like it was somewhat unfinished. There was so much stuff all over the place, melted vinyls and such, and bits of old hospital wallpaper. It's sad that it's been left as it is now for the past several years, as the original hospital building was pretty nice to look at.

that was the only picture of the hospital that i could find =/

s-n-o-w
These are from the day after the NME tour, when me and Rogan spent half the day doing absolutely nothing/sleeping, which was pretty great. It was good to actually spend the whole day with him, having a best friend who lives so far away is a bit of an inconvenience. But i can't complain, we speak every day, and see each other at least once a month, but i'm just being moany. We ended up trekking down through a park right near his house, and found this field covered in snow. I say found, he obviously knew it was there, but not about the snow. It was strange, because nowhere else seemed to have any snow at all, but here there was snow to the maxxx. It's pretty much surrounded by trees, and there's quite a steep drop that takes you down to it, but once we got there, it was best thing ever.
These were taken before my bag broke, and before i pwned Callum with a face full of snow, which is probably why we both look so happy./ :')

I found this picture on my photobucket account today, and just couldn't not post it. This was taken some time back in April i think, when me and Rogan didn't go way back. All i remember is thinking that he was some kind of genius, because i had no idea how he'd done it, let alone spell hollie, and i knew nothing about shutter speeds or whatever. Pretty happy times.
If i could physically hold it, it'd be in my box of favourite things. But i can't. So it's not.

life
the first one, because i love my nan so bad. we did an exercise in media studies, and it was about the stereotypes of elderly people. everyone came out with such negative descriptions, and i couldn't bring myself to say anything. until jackie asked me my opinions.
loving, and some of the greatest people in the world.

edinburghhhhh
Because spending 3 days with two of your best friends in Edinburgh is one of the happiest things ever. Even if you do get allocated the wrong size room, with what seemed to be heating suitable for people living in the arctic.

On my own i know, how tragic. Yet spending the evening with the combined Mystery Jets made being alone pretty unimportant. It was pretty weird, and they were all so welcoming, especially Blaine. I was worried that he wouldn't know who i was, but when i whipped out the Taggart dvd he knew straight away; 'You said that you'd come!' of course i did, i wouldn't have missed it for the world. I got to sit and have a chat with Henry for quite a while, and we watched the soundcheck; i nearly choked at Hideaway. And then i joined Blaine and their tour manager for lunch, which was pretty weird as well. Blaine was such a gentleman, and the fact that he took the time out to sit and talk me for tiiime really made my night.
